Statement

"The EFA, The European Federation of Auctioneers was founded in 1975. It consists of memberships of auction houses in fine art and antiques as well as national federations of antique dealers in Europe. The Federation deals with proposals issued by the Commission of the EU. It is also a forum for exchange of knowledge among its members on issues linked to international trade of fine art and antiques. Today the  EFA is particularly focusing on subjects such as droit de suite,  taxes,  customs and the protection of national heritage."
